Why is facilities management so important?

In an age where cost-effective working processes are key to increasing operational efficiency, business owners demand a facilities management provider who can get a large project up and running quickly, safely and on budget.
Facility management has evolved into a demanding discipline as facilities have become much larger and more complicated. The responsibilities of the facility management company have continued to broaden into all areas of facility upkeep, including insuring that the business adheres to regulatory requirements in areas such as food hygiene and safe working practices.

That’s why we take care of everything from project design, planning and management, to equipment sourcing and supply. We know the importance of starting all new client relationships with a discussion to fully understand their brief and provide bespoke solutions - for everything from menu choice to food packaging and restaurant design.

We carry out regular 360-KPI reviews of our performance across a range of measures, including catering, cleaning, hygiene, employment, health and safety, complaints and quality of goods supplied.

Our catering teams are trained to a minimum of Level 3 in Food Safety and Hygiene and Level 3 Supervisor in HACCP to ensure we maintain a Food Hygiene Rating of 5 across all our catering outlets. Our cleaning staff are COSHH trained to supervisory level in the very latest cleaning techniques and we are ‘Safe Contractor’ approved and registered with the ‘Considerate Contractors Scheme’, enabling us to work in the most challenging environments. Something we are very proud to say we have achieved.

Grant Harman said: We want our clients to know that our company really cares about them, and everyone from our directors to our cleaning operatives takes their quality of work seriously. We don’t wait for problems to happen, we go in, troubleshoot and implement solutions.”
